On September 11, 2003, the U.S. Consulate General in Krakow marked the second anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the United States with a commemorative ceremony in front of the Consulate building.

The event was attended by representatives of the Polish government and the diplomatic corps, the local government, the American business and institutions, the fire department, police and army as well as the media.
