US Consular Agency Poznan

The U.S. Consular Agency in Poznan will be closed from February 19, 2007 to March 6, 2007. During this period, the American Citizens Services Section (ACS) at the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw can provide all services normally provided by the U.S. Consular Agency in Poznan. Please contact the ACS section directly if you have any questions.

The ACS Unit in Warsaw is open from 9:00 a.m. – 12 p.m., Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; 9:00 am to 3:00 p.m. Tuesdays, and Thursdays excluding Polish and American holidays.

Emergencies:
In case of an emergency, you may contact the ACS section directly during normal working hours (8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) at (48)(22) 504-2784. Outside of normal working hours, please call (48)(22) 504-2000 and ask to speak to the Embassy Duty Officer.


Note: all fees for services provided by the Consular must be paid in US dollars. The Consular Agency does not accept payment by check or credit card.

The Consular Agency offers a range of services to Americans living or traveling in the Wielkopolskie, Lubuskie, and Zachodniopomorskie regions of Poland. These services include accepting applications to renew expired passports and to report the birth of a U.S. citizen in Poland. Applications are accepted in Poznan and then transmitted via courier service to the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw for processing.

The Consular Agency can also provide emergency services for distressed American travelers. For more information on what services are available to Americans, please visit the American Citizen Services Webpage.

The Consular Agency does not accept visa applications.

Hours: Beginning January 1, 2007 the Consular Agency will be open to the public except for U.S. and Polish holidays on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 am - 4 pm.
