Consulate Supports Krakow Summer Jazz Festival

The 9th Krakow Summer Jazz Festival (July 10 - August 8, 2005) kicked-off on July 11 with "New Orleans Jazz Sunday" sponsored by the U.S. Consulate General.

Festivities included outdoor concerts on the crowd-packed main Market Square, a New Orleans style parade along one of the town’s main streets and a live jazz band touring around the city center in a vintage tram. Performers included U.S. jazz singer Janice Harrington and her Jazz Ball Band Orchestra.
