U.S. Passports

Renewals

It takes several working days to receive a new passport once you submit the application. We encourage you to check your passport for the expiration date and to apply early for renewal.

Everyone (including minors) seeking to renew a U.S. passport must apply in person at the American Citizen Services office at Embassy Warsaw, Consulate General Krakow, or the Consular Agency in Poznan. The fee for passport renewal for adults is 75 USD (children 85 USD) or the equivalent in Polish currency, payable in cash or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Novus/Discover, Diners). We cannot accept payment by check.

You will need 2 identical passport photos, 2 in x 2 in, taken within the last six months. Photographs should be colour and must be front view, full-face taken in normal attire.
