Poezja żydowska i spotkanie z żydowską tożsamością:
amerykańska poetka Marilyn Kallet w Krakowie


Marilyn Kallet, wielokrotnie nagradzana poetka i autorka jedenastu książek, w dniu 21 czerwca przebywać będzie w Krakowie. Najnowsza książka Marilyn Kallet to wydany w ubiegłym roku tomik poezji “Circe, After Hours” („Kirke. Po godzinach”). Jedna z części tomiku zawiera wiersze poświęcone rodzinie i tematyce Holokaustu.

Marilyn Kallet od 25 lat wykłada w University of Tennessee, gdzie kieruje katedrą im. Hodgesa na Filologii Angielskiej oraz prowadzi zajęcia z twórczego pisania. W 2005 została zaliczona do Panteonu Sław Literackich Wschodniego Tennessee. Otrzymała szereg prestiżowych nagród literackich i akademickich.
