On January 14, 2005, the Public Affairs Officer at the United States Consulate General in Krakow, William Bellis, opened an exhibit of pinhole photography organized by the Museum of History of Photography in Krakow and co-funded by a grant from the U.S. Consulate General.

It is a joint Polish-American project which displays pictures made by the "pinhole" technique. Two prominent American artists co-organized the exhibit of their photographs with two young Polish artists. The event attracted over 100 people interested in photography. The American photographers Walter Crump and Jesseca Fergusson also held two workshops and slide shows of their works at Krakow Art School and Youth Cultural Club.
