Consul meets students

William Bellis, Public Affairs Officer at the U.S. Consulate General in Krakow, gave a presentation on U.S.-EU-Polish relations to students from the political science club at the University of Opole on March 3, 2005.

Around 100 students attended the talk and asked questions afterwards. The discussion focused on the point that while U.S.-Polish relations are becoming more complex due to Poland’s joining the EU, “EU membership and U.S. friendship” are not mutually exclusive.
