Vice-consul

To celebrate African-American History Month, on February 16, 2005 Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Consulate General in Krakow organized a lecture on American Traditions and Prominent African-American leaders by vice-consul Denny Merideth at Rzeszow University. Then the Director of American Information Resource Center in Krakow promoted International Information Programs' newest publications and resources, including the ones on African-American History Month, and resources of the Center in general. The event was wrapped up by PAS Krakow Educational Adviser's presentation on "Studying in U.S." Over 70 students of the English Philology Department at Rzeszow University attended the lecture and presentations. After the lectures a smaller group of students gathered for a meeting with the vice-consul who answered questions about the Work and Travel program.
