Consul for Press and Culture in Krakow, on March 10, addressed students at the Pedagogical Academy in Krakow on “lobbying” in the U.S. The presentation was part of a conference organized by the Association of Catholic Youth who sought to examine the current state of lobbying practices in Poland. This interest was sparked by recent hearings conducted by the Poland’s Parliamentary Investigative Commission. Students also invited Polish lawyers drafting the new lobbying law, local government officials, business representatives and the media. They wanted to hear about lobbying in the U.S. so as to compare it to the Polish experience.
