Opening of the exhibit

During a recent field trip to Przemysl, a city in the Polish borderland with Ukraine, Public Affairs Officer at the U.S. Consulate General in Krakow opened an exhibit "Our Hero" that was a result of a partnership program that the Przemysl School has with a Lakeland Academy near Dallas, Texas.

The exhibit of drawings and paintings by American elementary school students was inspired by the key figures in their lives. At the same time the drawings of Polish students were shown in Dallas and kids from both schools started to exchange emails. This was possible due to an exemplary commitment of the school director to develop international cooperation and dialog.
