Over the month of November 2005, Krakow’s American Information Resource Center provided presentations to no less than 18 groups of students (approximately one a day) from three institutions: Jagiellonian University, Academy of Pedagogy and Krakow College.
The students had a chance to get acquainted with variety of sources available there as well as with its movie collection, digital videoconference programs and International Information Programs products.
This important public outreach is part of the AIRC’s ongoing strategic promotional program which over the course of the year provides targeted presentations of its activities, databases and IIP publications to roughly three hundred students of American Studies, Library Science and Foreign Affairs.
