A group of sponsors, supporters and members of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum visited Poland and met with leaders of Jewish communities and organizations. They also visited the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum and toured the city of Krakow. Anne Hall, the Consul General in Krakow, hosted a reception for the group on Sunday, October 8. During the reception a certificate of appreciation was presented by the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum to Mr. Jerzy Wróblewski, the previous director of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. |
