The 8th workshop of Public Affairs Section Krakow’s ongoing Partnership for Democracy - International Media Program on April 6-8, focused on “Renewable Sources of Energy”. Ukrainian journalists had an opportunity to visit and study aspects of the Polish energy sector. They were shown local initiatives by some state and city entities that make an effort to produce clean energy from biomass, solar and wind and thus save on costs, reduce pollution and in some cases preserve jobs if not increase local employment.
