Ensemble “Chamber Winds” perform for Polish audience

During the week of November 14-18, 2006, America’s Musical Ambassadors, the United States Air Forces in Europe Ensemble “Chamber Winds”, had a very successful five-concert tour in southeastern Poland. Performances of this fifteen-member chamber ensemble were very well received by audiences that averaged over 400 people per night in the cities of Krakow, Katowice, Swidnica, Wroclaw and Poznan. The audiences demonstrated great enthusiasm for American music (the program included Copland’s Appalachian Spring, for example) and the American performers.
