Consul General Fairfax and Cardinal Dziwisz speaking shortly before the formal Ingress

On April 1, 2006, Consul General Kenneth Fairfax was in attendance as Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz, the Archbishop of Krakow, made his first formal entrance to Wawel Cathedral after having been elevated to Cardinal by Pope Benedict XVI during a ceremony in St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. Following the Ingress, Consul General Fairfax also attended the ceremonial closing session of the Rogatory Commission investigating the life of the late Pope John Paul II as part of the Beatification process.
