Dec-13-2004
Brochure cover

On December 2 the American Information Resource Center at the U.S. Consulate General in Krakow organized a film showing "Trading women" for an audience of 30 members of various non-governmental organizations focusing on human rights issues.

The film showing was preceded by an introductory lecture delivered by Alicja gluszek, a member of Halina Nieć Human Rights Association (Krakow based NGO), on various types of human trafficking and actions undertaken to fight it. Members of the audience received a brochure prepared by the Department of State "Be Smart, Be Safe..." on trafficking in women.
