On May 31st Ambassador Victor Ashe took part in the “Last Bolt” Ceremony at WSK PZL Rzeszów S.A. – the Pratt & Whitney plant assembling the F-100 jet engines that will power the F-16 jet fighters being purchased by Poland. The Ambassador joined Pratt & Whitney President Steve Finger, Polish Air Force Chief of Staff General Stanisław Targosz and other Polish and American dignitaries in ceremonially tightening the last bolt on the advanced F-100/229 engine that will be installed in one of the first F-16 fighters to be delivered to Poland this fall. |
