Ambassador Victor Ashe Visits Krakow

During a two day visit to Krakow (November 6-7), Ambassador Ashe met the newly appointed Governor of Małopolska, Maciej Klima, and opened the International Conference “Immigrants – Us and Them” at the Higher European College (Wyzsza Szkoła Europejska). In addition, Ambassador Ashe met Zofia Gołubiew, Director of the National Museum in Krakow, and toured the 20th Century Polish Art and the Decorative Art collections at the museum. He also visited the studio of Małgorzata Swolkień, whose works are very popular among ceramics and glass art collectors. Ambassador Ashe paid a short courtesy call on the owners of The Starmach Gallery – in their Gallery in Podgórze – before leaving.
