The collection of the Young Learners Resource Center includes teaching methodology books that can be borrowed or copied, as well as handouts with practical materials for classroom use, including lesson plans. There is also a “processing corner” where teachers are able to use the die cut machine or laminator to allow them to prepare their own teaching materials for classroom use. All resources are free of charge.
The Center provides teachers with an opportunity to improve their teaching methodologies and curricula for teaching English to young learners. The center enables teachers to work together, exchange ideas and establish a sense of community amongst English teachers of elementary schools.
The American Corner that hosts the center also provides a venue for American speakers, cultural events and workshops. Please have a look at its website at http://www.amcorners.pl/wroclaw/
