Michelle Riebeling receives traditional welcome at high school in Gorzów-Śląski
Consular Officer Michelle Riebeling visited the town of Gorzów-Śląski in Silesia where she spoke in a local high school to a group of about one hundred teachers and students on November 8.  She focused her presentation on the holiday of Thanksgiving, its history and its place in U.S. society today.  Following the presentation, Ms. Riebeling answered questions from the students about life in the U.S.   She also met with teachers and the director of the school and discussed the structure of the U.S. education system, as well as challenges in both the U.S. and Polish education systems.   In addition to the visit to Gorzów-Śląski, Ms. Riebeling took advantage of the trip to Silesia to visit the Museum of Manor Interiors in neighboring Ożarów where she met with Dr. Jarosław Eichstaedt and toured the facility.
