US National Soccer Team Defeats Polish Team 3-0

The US men’s national team defeated the Polish national team 3-0 on March 26 in Krakow. The friendly match puts the US and Poland at an even 7-7-2 record. US Coach Bob Bradley praised the crowd and the special atmosphere in Krakow, adding that a win against a good team like Poland showed the discipline of the US players. Before the game, US Ambassador Victor Ashe watched the US men’s national soccer team practice in Krakow. Ambassador Ashe had a chance to meet US head coach Bob Bradley and the US players, including Landon Donovan, who holds the US record for goals scored. The team presented Ambassador Ashe a US soccer jersey signed by the men’s national team.
