U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton spoke at the European Parliament in Brussels on Friday March 6. She spent an hour fielding questions from an audience of EU interns. Questions ranged from U.S. policy in the Middle East and Israeli settlements in the West Bank to climate change and the economic crisis to U.S.-Russia relations. A group of students from Jagiellonian University's Young Diplomat's Association came to the U.S. Consulate in Krakow to watch the event live via web streaming technology. The students were especially struck by Secretary's Clinton's remarks on human rights and climate change. For a complete transcript of Secretary Clinton's remarks, please click here.
