The outreach program in Rzeszow
Representatives of Federal Benefit's Unit Reach out to Polish Citizens in Rzeszow

The Federal Benefits Units from U.S. Embassy Warsaw and the U.S. Consulate in Krakow conducted a combined two-day outreach program last week in Rzeszow, as part of their effort to raise public awareness about the recently enacted Totalization agreement.  Under this new agreement, Polish citizens who previously worked in the U.S. and meet the qualifications for the program are now able to receive social security benefits in combination with their Polish retirement payments.  The event was an great success, with approximately 200 people receiving advice and assistance during the two-day event.
