Krakow and San Francisco Become Sister Cities
July 3, 2009

Krakow Mayor Jacek Majchrowski and San Francisco City and County Supervisor Bevan Dufty and Protocol Officer Matthew Goudeau formally signed a sister city agreement between Krakow and San Francisco, California on Thursday July 2 at the Town Hall in Krakow.  Over 100 representatives from the business and arts communities in San Francisco were on hand for the signing.  Consul General Anne Hall was also present at the ceremony and noted, "The agreement brings together two beautiful cities known for their rich cultural offerings. I'm also delighted that Poland is well-represented on America's West Coast".
