Digital Video Conference on Missile Defense Held in Krakow

The U.S. Consulate General in Krakow and the Association of Students of International Relations at the Jagiellonian University organized a digital video conference on missile defense on April 23 at Stolarska 9 in Krakow. The American panelist, Keith Englander from the U.S. Missile Defense Agency, answered students' questions on technical aspects of the ballistic missile defense system, its capability and effectiveness. The speaker explained the differences between the proposed missile defense system and other defensive systems such as THAAD and Aegis and presented some flight test performance results. The meeting was one of a series of video conferences and lectures on missile defense organized by the Association of Students of International Relations and the U.S. Consulate.
