Consulate Attends Independence Day Celebration in Jaslo

Management Officer Linda Rosalik represented the US Consulate in Krakow at the National Day celebration in Jaslo in the Podkarpackie Region.  In attendance were the marshall, mayor, starosta, and military, city and county delegates. The celebration included a Mass in remembrance of those who had fought in the struggle for Polish independence and those citizens and soldiers who perished.  The mass was followed by a parade and ceremonial placement of wreathes of flowers at a plaque in honor of Polish patriot Joseph Pilsudski and the tomb of the unknown soldier.
