Consulate at Carpathian Climate Festival in Krosno

 Piotr Przytocki (Mayor of Krosno), Vice Consul Nathan Halat, Bronisław Baran (Vice Mayor of Krosno) and Stanisław Słyś (Chairman of the City Council)
Vice Consul Nathan Halat attended the Carpathian Climate Festival in Krosno from August 29-31.  Highlights of the festival included folklore presentations from across the region, music, art exhibitions, and local cuisine.  There were also meetings with Krosno mayor Piotr Przytocki, vice mayor Bronisław Baran, and Stanisław Słyś, Chairman of the City Council. The festival was attended by visiting delegations from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Slovakia, Ukraine, as well as the United States.  On September 1, Mr. Halat attended the first day of class at Szkola Podstawowa z Oddziałami Integracyjnymi nr 14, met with Home Army veterans marking the 69th anniversary of World War II and visited the Deco-Glass and Goodrich factories.
