Consul General Anne Hall travelled to Lower Silesia on September 20-21 to help open the Octoberfest celebration at the Armory in Wroclaw, sponsored by the American Chamber of Commerce and other businesses.  She also spoke with students of the International Relations Department of Wroclaw University about the proposed missile defense system in Poland.  Consul General Hall then went to Walbrzych where she met with the mayor, Piotr Kruczkowski.  Mr. Kruczkowski showed Consul General Hall the industrial park, home of a Toyota factory, and then went with her to Ksiaz Castle.  While at Ksiaz, Consul General Hall met with the Chairman of the Stado Ogierow horsebreeding center, Marek Zalewski, and the Vice President of the Ksiaz Castle preservation authority, Barbara Grzegorczyk.
