Consul General Visits Lower Silesia

 Consul General Anne Hall met called on newly-appointed Governor of Lower Silesia Rafał Jurkowlaniec in Wrocław
Consul General Anne Hall visited Lower Silesia December 6-7.  She paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed governer, Rafał Jurkowlaniec, and later met with the head of the Wrocław City Development Board, Paweł Panczyj.  Consul General Hall then traveled to Świdnica where she met with Vice Starosta Ryszard Wawryniewicz and toured the famous all-wooden "Peace Church," constructed soon after the Treaty of Westphalia to commerorate Protestant/Catholic rapprochement.  Consul General Hall concluded her trip with a visit to the Greenbriar Company in Świdnica.  Greenbriar is a major American investor in the region, and manufactures train cargo cars.
