During her visit to Sanok, Ms. Hall also met with Sanok Mayor Wojciech Blecharczyk and the head of the county, Mr. Waclaw Krawczyk. On the second day of the festival, Mayor Blecharczyk joined Ms. Hall and the other volunteers to help paint the murals.
The PaintFest was the final leg of an international art effort to unite people in six countries (USA, Brazil, South Korea, Germany, Norway, and Poland) in a common cause…to give comfort and love to people in hospitals.
The Foundation for Hospital Art www.hospitalart.org is a non-profit organization whose vision is to make hospitals our most beautiful places for healing.
The U.S. Consulate General in Krakow also donated one mural that was painted by Consulate staff prior to the Sanok PaintFest.
