Consul General Anne Hall meets with newly appointed Governor of Opole Ryszard Wilczyński

Consul General Anne Hall traveled to Opole January 16 to meet with leading government, church, and business figures.  She was introduced to Ryszard Wilczyński, the newly appointed governor, as well as Opole Mayor Ryszard Zembaczyński.  She discussed U.S. investment with Mayor Zembaczyński, as well infrastructure development and local outmigration in the labor market.  Consul General Hall met as well with Archbishop Alfons Nossol, and talked with him about his ecumenical outreach work in the church.  Consul General Hall concluded her trip with a visit to the nearby American-owned Namysłów Brewery, where she met with the founder Mike Gostomsky of Minnesota.
