Consul General Anne Hall attends the celebration of the first BLACK HAWK helicopter cabin produced at PZL Mielec


Consul General Anne Hall attended the landmark March 11 rollout celebration of the first BLACK HAWK helicopter cabin produced at PZL Mielec, the Polish affiliate of American firm Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. The cabin on display for guests March 11 will be used in the first S-70i BLACK HAWK helicopter, and a cabin produced later in the month will be assembled into the U.S. Army's BLACK HAWK. Production of the BLACK HAWK cabin at Poland's largest fixed-wing aircraft manufacturer is a model of cooperation by Americans and Poles and a significant milestone in PZL Mielec's capability to become a global provider of the BLACK HAWK helicopter itself.  (more photos)
