 Wreath-laying ceremony for Sinti and Roma victims at Auschwitz-Birkenau
Consul for Political and Economic Affairs Duncan Walker joined other members of the international diplomatic corps, local and national government officials and survivors in a wreath-laying ceremony at Auschwitz-Birkenau on August 2, 2007.  The ceremony honored Sinti and Roma victims who perished in the camp.  The ceremony was organized by the Roma Association of Poland and the Roma Historical Institute and marked the 63th anniversary of the liquidation of the Roma camp.
