Professor Alexander meets with Krakow Academics
Terrorism expert, Professor Yonah Alexander, held a roundtable discussion with Polish academics at the Consulate on July 14 on the threat of terrorism to modern civilization. Professor Alexander emphasized that terrorism is a very real threat and one that must be confronted as it will not decrease in the near future.  He also talked about the need to fight terrorism on several levels, including by developing a legal response to it and by improving economic conditions. Following Professor Alexander’s talk, he held a question and answer session with the Polish academics in attendance. The discussion helped to establish links between several Krakow universities and the Potomac Institute of Policy Studies where Professor Alexander is Director of the Institute’s International Center for Terrorism Studies.
