Students in Krakow and Katowice engaged in lively discussions on the US elections with two of America’s most prominent political journalists, Tom Oliphant and Susan Spencer.  Tom Oliphant, a long-time columnist with the Boston Globe and a regular contributor to political television programs, spoke with students at the University of Silesia and Jagiellonian University.  His wife, the Emmy-award winning CBS correspondent Susan Spencer, met with students at Tischner European University and KSW Krakow University College.  Tom Oliphant and Susan Spencer appeared together for a public discussion about the elections at Krakow’s famous student club, Pod Jaszczurami.  Both Susan Spencer and Tom Oliphant were delighted by the students’ interest and knowledge about the US elections.
