Ambassador Victor Ashe visited Małopolska December 9-10. Ambassador Ashe and Consul General Anne Hall called on the newly appointed Governor Jerzy Miller.  Ambassador Ashe also visited with the mayors of Skawina and Zator. In Rząska, Ambassador Ashe and Consul General Hall met with Professor Czesław Dźwigaj, a sculptor who has created monuments of John Paul II that are exhibited both in Poland and abroad.  In the evening, Ambassador Ashe opened the "Living On" photographic exhibition at the Galicja Museum in Krakow.  The exhibition features photographs and firsthand accounts of the Holocaust from survivors, rescuers and camp liberators.  The exhibition comes from Ambassador Ashe's home state of Tennessee courtesy of the Tennessee Holocaust Commission and is on display at the Galicja Museum until mid-January.
