Wreath laying at the Tomb of Unknown Soldier
Acting Consul General lays wreath at the Tomb of Unknown Soldier in Krakow

On Thursday, August 13, Jeffrey Vick, acting Consul General in Krakow, participated in the Polish Army Day event celebrating the 89th anniversary of the Warsaw Battle victory. In the presence of Minister of Defense Bogdan Klich, Krakow Mayor Jacek Majchrowski, representatives of the city and regional authorities, war veterans   and soldiers from the Krakow Garrison , Jeffrey Vick together with other Consuls general from foreign diplomatic missions in Krakow laid  a wreath of flowers in tribute to the  Unknown Soldier symbolized by a monument in Matejki Square.
